Tasting - Yellow Tail Pinot Grigio

Name: Yellow Tail Pinot Grigio
Variety: Pinot Grigio
Region: South Eastern, Australia
Country: Australia
Year: 2013
Price: $7

Winery Review: Pinot Grigio is delightfully fresh, zesty and elegant with lots of super-ripe concentrated fruit. This wine has fragrant aromas of citrus fruits with delicate notes of green apples and pears.

My Review: This wine was very crisp just like a typical Pinot Grigio and had a granny smith, golden apple taste mixed with some pears and nectarines, possibly some white peaches as well. The nose was fruity as well, but not really over the top. I thought it was an average wine; not anything special.

I did not taste this wine with food.
