Tasting - La Linda Viognier

Name: La Linda Viognier
Variety: Viognier
Region: Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza
Country: Argentina

Year: 2012
Price: $11.95

Winery Review: Exotic, clear and bright, almost gold in colour. Well defined notes of orchid, musk and ripe apricot. It reveals an unctuous texture on the palate. Long aftertaste with piercing acidity.

My Review: It had a very pretty golden color when it was first poured into the glass. I did not think that the nose was very appealing as it smelled kind of like bad or old fruit. It was a very bold wine with hints of peach. It was very creamy and had a smooth finish. I thought that it was a little too bold for my palate but that may be because it would pair better with food.
I did not taste this wine with food.
